WELCOME!

Please take a few moments to check out my site. There’s a lot here to enjoy.

You’ll find in the menu above both an author bio and contact information. Please feel free to contact me for any reason! I do still adore snail mail, and my mailing address can be found there if you’d like to send me a post card.

I’ve been blogging periodically for a little over two years and I sincerely hope you enjoy the little observations and articles you’ll find under the blog tab. It’s a challenging thing, to write blog posts, and learning to stick to a deadline. I really enjoy writing under pressure from time to time, even if the pressure is purely created by me.

Also included is a fun little gallery of photos of my artwork and household projects. I love being creative in many different media, including painting, building furniture, sewing and endlessly decorating and redecorating my home. I’m always up to something!

WHAT’S ON MY RADAR, WRITING-WISE? GLAD YOU ASKED!

Currently, I am working on a novel which has taken me by complete surprise by turning into a series of at least THREE books. I am happy to say that these stories are fun, sweet, romantic, and full of characters you’ll want to hear more from!

TWO FOR ALASKA,”

With its setting in the Matanuska-Susitna Valley in Alaska, with charming characters and the unique comings and goings of the long, dark winters here up north, I really believe you’ll love this series! The first book in this series, titled, “Chasing Aurora,” is nearing the finish line. Click on the Snippets tab above for more information on this exciting series as well as other novel endeavors I have in the works.

I love creating realistic fictional people who are humorous, kind, funny and unique. Though I write in several genres, including Children’s books, Young Adult fiction, and non-fiction, my wheelhouse is and has always been contemporary adult fiction, with a concentration on Romantic Comedy. I am a sappy romantic at heart, writing characters that are less-than-perfect and sometimes less-than-ready for love… and I revel in a slow burn.

“I write because the stories are there, in my mind and in my heart, just waiting to be born.”

~Me, a few months ago

“To me, the characters I write become every bit as real as if they were standing here, breathing loudly over my shoulder… oh, wait, that’s just my husband, asking what we should have for dinner…”
